Messy and last minute. Felt rushed and the interviewer did not prepare. Started to talk about how they didn't expect to receive such a high volume of applicants, despite knowingly posted it on LinkedIn for weeks -- which is fine to be caught out by surprise, but there is no need to repeat this, continuously. Deferred questions on TC, not listed on the JD. What a waste of time.
Interview was bordering disrespectful, commented how I did not "look like" I have the years of experience as stated on my resume; this is for a senior role, mind you. Also pointed out that the current workplace is filled with white males so they are currently looking for people who are not the stereotypical men. Sure. So does it mean you are looking for a diversity hire rather than an actual, accomplished director?
