      My interview experience with Konecranes was overall positive and professional. The technical test was not extremely hard, but it focused a lot on practical thinking and problem-solving skills rather than only theoretical knowledge. The interview process was well organized. The technical part included questions related to core concepts for the role, logical thinking, and a few practical scenarios. The interviewers seemed interested in understanding how I approach problems, communicate solutions, and work in a team environment. The atmosphere during the interview was calm and respectful. The recruiters and technical interviewers were friendly and gave enough time to explain answers. Some questions required attention to detail and real-world reasoning, especially around troubleshooting and decision-making. In my perception, the process was fair and suitable for evaluating both technical knowledge and professional attitude. Preparation in fundamentals, problem-solving, and explaining previous projects clearly is very helpful for succeeding in the interview.

      Entrevista

      I recently attended an interview at Konecranes after traveling 300 km, expecting a fair and technical assessment. However, the interview was poorly conducted, with the HR team asking only personal and previous job-related questions—nothing technical. What was even more frustrating was that, at the end of the interview, HR mentioned they had already hired a bulk of candidates and would only consider me if a vacancy opened up. If there was no real opportunity, why schedule the interview in the first place? This experience felt like a waste of time, effort, and resources. Companies should be more transparent and respectful of candidates' time before scheduling interviews. I would not recommend others to go through such an unprofessional process.
