Group interview was odd as I was only asked three questions and the other four were asked many questions. Received a call on two days later that the background check came in and she would like to offer me a position. Attended orientation the next business day. I think that style and grooming was very important because two people had previously worked at Kohl's and did not get positions; three had extensive retail and customer service experience and were placed in the home and children's departments. I was definitely the most appropriately dressed and I still received above minimum wage despite it being my first job and I was placed in misses, juniors, and men's by myself without the rest of the applicants.
