I got an email from the company to schedule an interview. On the day of the interview, two other applicants were there too. So it was indeed a group interview but my friend who had a later interview went in on a "one to one" interview. We were led to the store manager, where she had us take turns answering questions. The questions were more personal and vague rather than about "what you know about the store" or "situational," I brought my resume even though I don't have any retail experience. A few days later I received another email to fill in papers, then another one letting me know I was one step closer, finally another to schedule a day for my "first day" at Kohl's :)

It was simple and quick to get to know you. They asked why you’re interested and if you have customer experience. He offered me the job verbally after the interview but I never saw it come. A few days letter I got a letter saying I wasn’t selected. I’m not petty type or mad but please don’t do prematurely offer someone a job when you just started interviewing and you still have 8 other interviews after.
