I applies online and about a week later received an email to schedule an interview. I expected there to be a lot of other candidates since I received an email instead of a phone call, but I arrived early and was taken back for a one on one interview with the manager. She was really friendly and made it feel less like an interview and more like a normal conversation.
This would be my first job so we skipped over past employers, but I did bring up some volunteer work where I've had to work with the public and talked about how I thought that would be useful when dealing with customers. She asked me about my school schedule (I'm currently in college) and we talked about my availability. She said I got the job and would get an official offer later in the day.

they were friendly from the beginning, first got an email from the store saying that they were interested in an interview with me. scheduled an interview with them for that same week, was about 35 mins. heard back with a job offer about a week later.

I applied online and about a day or two later I got an email asking to come in for an interview. Came to the interview and it turned out to be a group interview. When the interview is over they send you an email about 24 hrs later if you got hired or not.
