I applied for the job online. I filled out the application, submitted my emal address to get a response. when I got a reply, I scheduled for an interview. I was notified I wo be doing this online. I took the test, answered some personal questions and was told I was not what they were looking for.

I had the interview in the Human Resources office where the HR manager asked me a series of questions based on my work history. Later, into the interview, she asked me questions testing on what to do in certain situations dealing with customers, conflicts in the store, and how to solve them.

This by far was the worst interview experience ever. I was trying to get a jump on some of the summer jobs before they were all gone so I applied for k-mart online and after I was prompted to schedule an interview. Around that time I was currently away in school so I couldn't schedule any earlier than May 13 since school was going to be out on the 15. I choose a time I could probably make just incase I ran into any problems. After I picked the interview time/day, I called them the following day to see if I can reschedule the interview, one of the associates told me they dont reschedule. Immediately I'm like "you kidding rite", the confirmation email told me I could reschedule if needed. I ended up having to miss my classes to go to the interview. Once I got there, I saw the HR manager(of course I didnt know that at the time). I go to the front desk and inform them I'm here for an interview. They then paged the HR to the front, we then go to her office and start the interview. At the time I wasn't nervous or anything, it was a calm atmosphere. She then start to ask me questions like, "why do you want to work here" "Are you in school" "When can you work"...basic stuff. Then she says we have a spot for you, im thinking yes i got the job(WRONG). We didnt talk long because she said its wednesday and thats when all the trucks come in so they are "busy", Im thinking like thats the whole point of a reschedule. Anyway she said that she was gonna get one of the stock managers or whatever to call me in a few days. Long story short, I didnt get the call, I waited 3-4 days then I called them. Someone told me she doesnt work on mondays so i left a message, called back that tuesday..she was in a meeting, i left another message. Im like heated as to why I havent received any call backs, so i finally go down there. One of the associates tell me shes in a meeting, Im like "I was interviewed a week ago, and the HR manager said she was going to get someone to call me for the job". The associate then calls her up, explaining the situation, she acted like she didnt know who I was. The associate said, "we'll let you know if something comes up"...aka we're not hiring you. I'll never support this company(never really did) nor inquire a job from them EVER....
