Pure waste of time. I applied for the Accountant role. This would be second time I've applied in the last few years. And both times I have applied and interviewed were a pure waste of time. First interview was with the recruiter. Then, they make you take a test. Shapes and numbers test. Which is fine. But I feel that they waste a ton of candidates time. I was told that they would send over my resume. After following up with the recruiter, she said she finally heard back from the hiring manager and she was going to focus on other candidates that had more experience. What I don't like is why even waste my time having me take a test if you have no idea if the manager is even interested? I think the test should only be if the candidate is actually being considered. It's a waste of time and quite frankly rude. To have to constantly follow up and take test is wild to me. All for the hiring manager not to be interested. In today's job market, let's all save each others time.
