The most unprofessional and disrespectful "interview" I have ever been to. I was contacted by an internal recruiter for an initial phone screen and was then scheduled for an in-person interview the following week with the directors of the team. I came in for my interview and met with two junior recruiting members, not the directors as promised, but that's okay- always great to meet potential coworkers right? The girl I meet with then leaves to get the directors, a.k.a the hiring managers who I was supposed to interview with. She returns and tells me that she's sorry, but the whole recruiting team suddenly all had to go to an "impromptu meeting" and that the directors wouldn't be able to meet with me, so I should just go. I was completely taken aback by this rude and disrespectful LIE. I wasted hours of my life preparing for and driving for this interview, and the directors don't even have the decency to meet with me? What if I was an out of town candidate who came specifically for this interview? They presented a complete disregard of my time and I am shocked at the bold lie and unprofessional attitude they displayed. I contacted my recruiter who I had been working with and long story short, they thought I wasn't a good personality fit and instead of meeting with me, they decided it would be best to lie and not give me the common decency of interviewing me as promised. Honestly, after reading the reviews and experiencing this gross and rude behavior, I feel as though I dodged a bullet. BEWARE future candidates.
