      Entrevista

Straightforward hiring process. Three interviews, starting with phone, face to face with team members, and then a presentation to team members. Each one was scheduled and coordinated by HR and I was communicated to throughout the process. Questions were smart and engaging and team members were thorough and interested in the process.

I applied for the Client Solutions Analyst role, but the HR contact told me I was being considered for the Senior Analyst role instead. I was nervous about this, but thought it may have been a good sign. I had a phone interview scheduled for 9-9:30, but at 9:20 no one had called... I reached out to the recruiter and she informed me that the person who was supposed to interview me was out on client meetings ( not a great sign..). We were able to reschedule to later that day. I was really excited for the interview, but I picked up the phone for the interview at 11, and was greeted by what sounded like the most miserable person at the entire company. He blandly listed off the role, etc, sighing every so often and making it extremely clear that he did not appreciate this last minute interview and really didn't want to be talking to me. I don't know if this was some sort of a test?? but it was very off putting, and really made me question how someone could sound so miserable at this company on a Friday. He asked me a bunch of generic questions (strengths, weaknesses). I received an email from the recruiter about a week later letting me know I didn't get the role. The whole process was just an extremely unorganized and quite miserable. I know I was a little overqualified for the analyst role, but why bump me up to senior analyst and then move forward with more 'experienced candidates'? The whole thing was just pretty awful.I think it speaks volumes about a company how they manage their recruiting process. Maybe not getting the role was just a blessing in disguise.

Solicité el puesto a través de la escuela superior o la universidad. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Kepler Group (New York, NY) en jul 2015

      Entrevista

I had a phone screen with the CEO and was immediately invited to the on-site interview. The on-site had 4 one-on-ones and a presentation. I was under the impression that I was performing favorably as the CEO invited me to the firm on the first call, and the VP tried to convince me to join the group very adamantly during the one on one interview. The on-site interview was hurried and no one seemed to know the schedule or what was going on. However, I was told by the outsourced HR that I would have a final call with a VP off-site. The final interview kept being postponed and I eventually stopped receiving responses. I ended up accepting another firm's offer and felt Kepler's HR was extremely unprofessional as they did not respond to several emails inquiring about their decision. I submitted expenses for reimbursement from my travel and received no response.
