The hospital proposed to expand its market and was looking to build a team for its strategic initiatives. After an extensive day long interview process with the top management (inclusive of introduction to the staff and tour of the workplace), another interview was scheduled with a department head. Following 1 phone interview, and both in-person interviews, a discussion of job responsibilities and proposed starting date also ensued. However, after keeping in touch for a few weeks (each time initiated by me), I was finally told that the position and future plan has been dropped due to budgetary concerns.
