When I submitted my resume, the HR called and we had the first interview by phone. After that the task was sent and when it was submitted (and I think that only requirement to get the next stage is actually to send the answers) was the next interview - with professionals of chosen department.

firstly they asked to describe experience and education in English, then asked various questions including the simplest ones to more complex of the specific professional field.

Entrevista
After submitting my CV, there was a virtual interview and they asked a market sizing question + why I wanted to join the specific department. They also asked about stuff in my CV and it was overall pretty manageable, they don't expect you to know much as an intern.
It was an hour long with 2 hiring manager and HR. Whole process was like one round to offer. This spanned around 2 weeks in total from HR reach out to offer letter.
The interview process at KPMG was straightforward but rigorous. I completed an online assessment, followed by a video interview, and then a panel interview with case questions. The team was professional, and the timeline was reasonable, taking about a month from application to offer.
