I was approached by Jumpfactor Marketing for the role of Content Manager on LinkedIn. This was quite a significant opportunity for me and I was willing to explore this role. I was asked to go through 4 rounds of interview which included an extensive writing task. After the final round I was asked to submit references from my current role. It has been a month since I shared the references but I haven't received any response from the HR team. It is unfair when a candidate puts so much effort in completing the application procedure but does not receive any response from the company. Due to the time difference, I even stayed up until 12am to make sure I attended the multiple rounds of interview but finally ended up getting ghosted by the team. Did not expect such unprofessional treatment from a team especially when the HR team voluntarily approaches candidates on LinkedIn and asks them to apply for the role.
