Interviewed with a recruiter, I was a good fit for the original job description. No response for three weeks... then I found out the job description changed dramatically and apparently I no longer fit the new description according to the company. I was quite surprised because I have hands on experience with their products but also a ton of experience with the new requirements too. In any case my experience tells me that they are not looking for an engineer who is seeking career growth but instead someone who would accept an engineering job.
