Overall, it was a good experience. The process was well organized and ran smoothly from start to finish. Communication was timely, but felt a bit impersonal since each email communication seemed to be a standard automated template. A more human touch could have improved the experience.
The interviewers themselves seemed sharp and the company appears to be a solid place with capable people.
Before the interview, I was encouraged to give short, concise answers, noting that interviewers would follow up if they wanted more detail. I followed that advice, but was later told I didn’t go into enough detail. Clearer guidance on what interviewers are actually looking for would be helpful.
All that said, I appreciated the structure and professionalism of the process, and I left the experience with a positive impression of the team and the company overall.

The white-boarding question was straightforward in concept but presented in a way that was confusing, mainly due to overloaded terminology (terms with multiple, seemingly overlapping meanings). It wasn’t clear if that ambiguity was intentional to prompt discussion, but it made understanding the requirements more difficult than necessary in my opinion.
Quick communication and timely updates on application status.
The recruiter interview questions were fairly general and didn’t fully reflect the depth of the role or what they are looking for other than mentioned tech stack. The evaluation also seemed heavily focused on exact tech stack matching which felt more aligned with a contracting-style need rather than a product engineering role that emphasizes transferable skills and long-term growth.

4 rounds post-recruiter-screening; hiring manager(s), take-home, take-home review + functional (pseudo code), and meet a Director or the VP (final). Everyone involved in the process was friendly and supportive. Never felt like I was being grilled or tricked, it was a transparent and overall enjoyable interview experience.

2. Hiring manager interview - STAR style interview
3. Take home assignment - Straight forward question but didn’t give a proper evaluation. Rejected on the basis of very subjective feedback.
