Entrevista
The interview process was long with many rounds.
First round: phone interview
Second round: an in-person interview with at least 8 people so I basically spent over 8 hours interviewing
I was called the following day by the Vice President saying that everyone on the team liked me but was lacking fixed income skills so was sent a manual to read manual to gain knowledge. After spending my entire weekend getting updated on fixed income, I was tested the Monday on my background knowledge on it.
The following day I was called by the Vice President again and was told that a recruiter will call me although he/she knew I was not getting the role. I was told that they are looking for the right person and they did not want to hire the wrong person for the role which is code for you are a woman and a minority and we cannot hire you.
To be quite honest, this was my worst interview experience ever, the vice president knew she will not be hiring me period but yet wasted my time in reading a 40-page manual to prove myself that I was serious about the role. I have learned that companies like these have used marketing like diversity and empowering women to make their company very lucrative. What these companies do not seem to know is that action speaks louder than fake marketing for your company.
Trust me the company and long interview process is not worth your time. Look elsewhere.
