Applied via the Coaching Academy, straightforward competency questions and was invited to take their psychometric tests, different style to SHL or Kenexa or anything else I'd seen but still straightforward. Invited to phone interview a few days later, mainly competency but some financial related about the markets and valuations etc.

Why Jefferies, why the division, how would your friends describe your greatest strength and weakness, why is the FTSE up?
The interview process consisted of a phone screen, a first round interview, and finally a superday. This was all conducted via zoom and the process was relatively quick. It was roughly two weeks from start to finish.

While the content remained standard for investment banking—focusing on typical technical and behavioural questions—the overall length was disappointing. I found the timeline unnecessarily long compared to other firms, which impacted my overall candidate experience.

Interviewed with SVP, 2 VPs, Associate, and analyst over 1 week and received offer within 3 weeks. Technical questions were industry specific and behavioral ones focused on capacity to work long hours and desire to work at Jefferies in the specific group.
