It was a two round interview and consisted of mainly what I thought fashion represented, why it is important to me, what I like most about J.Crew's fashion. They also asked if I had any previous customer service experience and about my work hours. Because I was in a different city (applied for a summer job), I had my first interview over the phone. The second interview was in person and both were very casual. For the in person interview we went to the coffee shop of the mall and had it there.

Lovely interview with the then assistant manager. Just connect showing your bubbly personality and talk maturely about your former job experience.
It ran for about 30-35 mins yet felt as if time flew by due to great conversation.
Great retail job. Requires alot of connecting with customers, even styling them in the fit rooms. But also remember EVERYONES EXPERIENCE is different
Easy, Basic Questions with the store manager. Just ask about previous experience and your availability. Why you want to work there. Met with the store manager and asked questions outside of the store.
the interview was entirely behavioral and very casual/conversational. mostly just how you would handle customer interactions and selling the credit card. i would highly recommend working there and interviewing. very similar to other retail interviews.
