After screening CV, the personnel from The Consulting unit invited me for 1 research test on English and research skills, and 2 interviews, mostly about past experience and motivation to work there. The test was quite simple, the only challenge was the time pressure, and the interview was conducted smoothly. Some other interns may experience a cold-calling test, in which they have to call some targets in a real project and handle the situation.

It started with a 30 min zoom call with the recruiter to explain my qualifications and learn more about the role. Then I had a 1 hour long interview with 2 seniors, this was split into 2 parts, 30 min behavioural and 30 min exercises.

Pretty simple interview process. 1 with HR, another with a member of the hiring team, case study + interview. Overall pretty straight forward and communicative, it wasn’t drawn out or anything.

Tell me about yourself, tell us about your previous research experience
Overall, the interview process was a great experience and very responsive. Communication was clear and timely at every stage. I was given a case study and asked to present my analysis, which allowed me to demonstrate both technical and presentation skills. The team was professional, supportive, and asked thoughtful questions, making the entire process engaging and insightful.
