Disappointing. I was looking forward to this interview because of the phenomenal employee reviews I saw on Glassdoor - very few companies have such high ratings. But the interview did not reflect those ratings unfortunately. To start, the HR Recruiter was 10 minutes late for our scheduled phone interview. I even tried calling her a few minutes past our scheduled time and she didn't answer. When she finally called me back she said, "Sorry, I was on the phone with my boss, she can be a little chatty." Obviously that was an interesting comment...but nevertheless I was ready to get started with the interview. Throughout the entire interview, the Recruiter was totally scattered. I could hear a dog barking in the background several times. She had me on mute for a while as she had me walk her through my resume, then afterwards she asked me a question. I answered, then there was silence. I asked if she was still there and she said, "Oh sorry I had you on mute." A few minutes later she asked what questions I had - I asked a question and there was a pause and she said, "Sorry, can you repeat that? I got distracted." By this point the interview seemed like a joke. She was frazzled and scattered the entire time. Then I could tell she got into a vehicle and her phone switched over to Bluetooth. As I was asking questions she got EXTREMELY snappy with me - I was dumbfounded. The last 5 minutes of the interview was her snapping and getting defensive every time I asked a question. I closed the best I could, which was followed by more demeaning snapping, closed again and thanked her for her time. I'm sure it's still a great company. But based on my experience, the Recruiter needs a career change. I'm just hoping that my review and others will get the attention of the managers who can prevent future candidates from having the same experience.
