I applied via LinkedIn and the HR contacted me via LinkedIn messenger to clarify details before they could shortlist me. The HR explained me that it will be a 2 stage process. The interview slots were filled in quickly. After agreeing on a suitable slot, HR then emailed me the interview details for stage 1 interview via email.

I had a first stage interview with the hiring manager in which we discussed my experience and I learned more about the role. I learned a few days later that I had got through to the second and final stage, set for a week's time. On the morning of the second interview I recieved a cancellation saying that they had filled the role. Overall, an ambivalent experience. Efficient communication, I appreciate they did not waste my time, aside from that spent preparing for the interview, but disappointed I did not even get a chance.
