There was an on-campus interview, then I received a "golden ticket" to go to their huge on-site recruiting event. There were 70+ applicants and over 140 recruiters. The first day there was a job-fair style event where you got to see all of the different mills and see which ones you liked before you ranked them all on your preference list. The second day was a mill tour, then two interviews and a group activity in which they monitor how you work in a group. After the interviews you eat dinner and they sit you next to a recruiter from your top priority mill.

The interview process was good overall. I went over two round of interviews. Both with very similar format. STAR format. No technical questions where asked during the interviews. Overall it was a very good interview.

Recruiters go above and beyond for a unique interview experience. Second round interviews are general interviews during a two-day recruiting event including all IP US mills where candidates specify which mill(s) they’d prefer an offer from.

Very interactive, and fun. The job comes with a lot of physical labor so it was a great place for a former athlete like myself to be. They told me the company loves go getters and that being open to new opportunities is key.
