Unfortunately, many people in the professional world apply for A job, as opposed to a SPECIFIC job. They sometime choose their employer using their head, instead of choosing with their heart. While this distinction can seem minute, in our experience it makes a huge difference in the performance and personal well-being of that person. Being passionately interested in a job makes work fun and time spent working becomes associated with something positive as opposed to something negative. For this reason I was very glad to read your comments about our hiring process and the distinction between applying for THIS job rather than merely A job.
