Applied via LinkedIn and was contacted by an outside recruiter and then I was interviewed by the internal recruiter. Immediately the follow day or two I had a call with the hiring manager and within a few days they had scheduled me a 4-hour onsite interview. The external recruiter who told me that there may be potentially 2 positions due to one of the perm employees possibly not returning after maternity. He also told me that I was the only person to get an in-person interview out of 15 candidates he sent over. I was optimistic. I went in for the half day of interviews and met with 6 or 7 people. They were nice and it was a business casual interview which included lunch. Then it was the holidays, so I didn't expect to hear from them until after. However, the hiring manager emailed me and invited me to have coffee with her so I happily agreed. We had a very lengthy conversation, about an hour and a half. I felt we had confirmed a few things and I felt confident. She asked for more writing and marketing samples, which I gladly provided over email. However, that was the last I heard from them without reaching out to them on my own. I never received as so much as a "Thank you for your time but we've gone with someone else email." Nothing. I followed up twice and also with the recruiter who finally told me they went with another candidate. I understand they don't owe me a follow up, but after I spent half a day, also a morning on a work day, and a few hours pulling together samples, the least they could do was send me a nice follow up, thank you for your time. At the end of process, they look unorganized, unprofessional and lacking follow through. No Thank You.

I applied to a posted position online. Seven days later an HR Coordinator contacted me to schedule a phone interview. Four days later, I interviewed with a recruiter by phone. Five days after that I interviewed with the hiring manager by phone. Six days after that I received a personal call from the recruiter letting me know I hadn't been selected.
The recruiter and hiring manager were both professional and intelligent, yet made me feel comfortable. Their questions were relevant and straightforward. The interviews seemed more like conversations rather than auditions.
The position description was very well written and gave a very clear idea of what the role entailed. The company website is so well organized, that it was very easy to prepare for the interview.
In the interview with the recruiter, I learned the company was flexible about working hours to accommodate early start or later start to avoid the heavy traffic in Silicon Valley during rush hours.
In all, my experience interviewing with Intapp was a model experience of how the process and interaction should work, in my opinion.
