I applied online and a recruiter contacted me for a one hour technical interview with a non technical person. She was looking for an exact answer which was written on a page/laptop in front of her. She had a heavy accent that was tough to understand. I had to repeat for clarification which made her "ANGRY" I think. I know the exact question she asked me in the last- "which keyword will you use to ensure that two threads can safely access the same variable?" I answered "Volatile" and I was ready to explain further but she was looking for only "Synchronized". Also, she was not pronouncing varchar as we do. Everything irritated her and she cut it in 5 minutes only that was very rude. She said this tells us where we stand I think. Its not required that you should know all the answers. There should be a positive outlook but this experience will make me think twice before applying again.
