Here is what happened and how weird it was.
Their Recruiter contacts me about the position on LinkedIn.
Then she says that someone else will contact me to schedule the first interview.
One week later, someone else contacted me on LinkedIn to schedule the interview.
The interview was scheduled for the next day.
I got no email or link for the interview, so I messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn to send me the link.
I got the reply the next day, which meant no interview.
Then we scheduled again. This time it didn't happen again due to an external problem that neither of us could control.
Then we rescheduled again, and we finally talked. The interview went well, and she was happy with it. She told me she would talk with the main person in HR and get back to me.
After a week, I asked what happened and if we would be moving on or not. Then I got an email asking if I would be available for the next day. I answered yes. This time I got the invitation.
The next day came, and I got an email last minute from the interviewer telling me she was busy and would not be attending and if I could move it to next week. I replied no problem.
Then I got an email from the recruiter apologizing for this whole mess, and instead of rescheduling, she informed me that they would no longer be moving on with my process.
I know, my friends, this is the true story.
I felt the company was not very organized because of all the confusion, miscommunication and delays, but after an email like that, I felt it was completely unprofessional.
I understand that my experience may be unique, but make sure you have everything straight right on the first communication before starting a process with them.
