Fairly easy, casual interview process. The volunteer coordinator reached out to me via email a couple of weeks after mailing in an application. Basically any typical interview questions were primarily asked in the application. The "interview" was really just a meeting to discuss hours of availability and areas of the hospital that I'd be interested in assisting.

Why do you want to volunteer at INOVA? (on application)
The Manager provided me with an application, asked me to complete it along with two professional references and submit back to the noted contact. Within two weeks I received a call from the site manager to discuss my availability to join the team.

Entrevista
It was very direct, brief, and informative. They asked me multiple questions regarding why I wanted to work there and they were very descriptive on what I had to do.
