Applied online. Received an e-mail from the recruiter the next day. Scheduled an on-site interview the same or the following week. Interviewed with the unit manager and educator. Many situational questions.

"Tell me about yourself, why do you want to work in this unit and why did you chose INOVA?"
The interview process is a two-way evaluation where you demonstrate your qualifications while deciding if the company matches your career goals. Next, you will meet with the hiring manager to discuss your professional background and relevant experience in greater detail. During the interview, you can ask questions about the unit, staffing, nurse-patient ratio etc.

I had a 20 minute phone interview with a recruiter then met with director and educator. They were standard interview questions and then I shadowed the unit. Was offered the job the next day

It wasn’t rigorous at all. The registered nurse interview process included application review, phone screening, in-person/virtual interviews with behavioral and clinical questions, skills assessment, and concludes with a job offer or feedback.
