I went for interview for Scientist position (Full time position). I went through two sets of interviews - one on phone and second on campus (Cranbury, NJ). The interview questions were similar to the both interview. The 2nd interview was back to back for straight 4:30 hrs with 15 min break (got only 5 mins). Talked with the team, and discussed what I can bring and what they can offer me as it interview is two-way process. They collected my personal information (including SSN) for background check without giving me offer. This is normally last part of the hiring process when offer is presented. However, I provided the information since they told me that it will accelerate job offer. After interview was completed, within few than 1 hour they rejected my application. I meet with 6 people and how can you reject candidate within less 1 hour without discussing about his/her. This was just a time waste as they already know my qualification from phone interview. The interview left a bad experience with the company as they already know who is this candidate based on the phone interview.
