Store manager contacted me, I came in for about a 5 minute interview w/Deli Manager. They didn't even have the decency to call with an offer; they sent it via email. I guess they were afraid I would ask for more money. Was told by a co-worker that when she was hired, the store manager purposely avoided her because she knew she wanted more than they offered.

Very simple straight forward process asking about accountability, customer service, and how you bring value to the team. They will also ask about your job history and how you contributed to those teams. They then go on to explain the job and its responsibilities.

Simple and easy. Just talked to manager and basically was hired on the spot! It was partially due to I had already worked there prior. But that made it simple because basically anyone can walk up and get a job.
