The interview consisted of 4 parts, 2 interviews, a written task that was pretty much demanding and another final interview. They asked a lot of detailed questions about the company and their products and I was able to deliver detailed answers. The last round was were it got tiresome and the questions repeated, whereby a few silly questions were also thrown in. I made it to the last round but was not offered the position.

I had applied online for a Technical Writer role and after 2 weeks, I was contacted by HR for the screening process. She took 30 minutes while explaining the company and took all the details. When my time came up for asking questions, she wasn't sure about any of my questions. She asks me for the expected salary but doesn't know how much is the company offering for the role I was interviewing for. When asked about visa sponsorship, not only she did not have an answer, she also was clueless about the whole visa sponsorship. At the end of the call, she asks me to share some of my writing samples and also send my questions in an email. She ended the call saying that there would be a second round for a video interview in a couple of days. After a couple of days, I emailed to check the status of the next round of the interview process. There was no response to none of my emails. After 3 weeks, they sent me an auto-generated email saying that they found a better candidate and I was rejected. Totally unprofessional and no regard for people who are sparing their time to apply for jobs. If they had already decided to choose candidates based on a CV then why ask for my writing samples. Since you have wasted my time they should have the basic courtesy to keep in constant touch with the candidate. Terrible experience and completely unprofessionalism. I would be ignoring this company in the future when am looking out for any opportunities.
