It was quite a friendly environment. I feel comfortable and waiting for a positive response soon. Regarding the process, it took time to get invited due to the public holidays. However, during that time, the company continue to keep in touch and inform the exact date that they would make a final decision. The company has a highly competitive profile and was selected as one of the 10 best places to work in Germany in 2023.
"Your resume says 'expert in object detection.' Walk me through the most challenging detection bug you debugged, including the exact code you wrote to fix it."
Two rounds, both technical. One with a manager, one with a 'mentor' engineer. Not terribly difficult questions, mostly ask about the details of your projects and go deeper. Very impersonal, didn't see their faces and they didn't introduce themselves.
