I was disappointed with the interview process for the Digital Product Manager Associate position at Independent Health. I had an initial interview with the hiring manager, followed by a second interview with the Digital Product Manager Lead of the department. The hiring manager directed me to the Lead for the second interview, which took place virtually for about 30 minutes. I was informed that I would receive a follow-up email after the holidays. After the interview, I sent a thank-you email to the Lead, expressing appreciation for the opportunity. I then followed up with the hiring manager a few weeks later to inquire about the status of my application. Unfortunately, I was met with complete silence, despite my efforts. Being ghosted after expressing interest in the position reflects poorly on how the company treats prospective employees and gives the impression that they lack respect for candidates' time and effort.
