      Entrevista

      Very bad experience due to completely incompetent in-house recruiter. I applied online. Received call from recruiter a few days later explaining the role and checking if my experience matches what they're looking for. It did and I was sent a timed skill test which consisted of three questions that had to be answered within 30 minutes. I finished the last question to only 50% but was told the next day that I had still made it. Now it was time for the face-to-face interview. I met with the team lead and regional director of client services, both were friendly and I had the impression things were going well. Two days later I got the call from the recruiter saying that I was overqualified!!?? Apparently the people in the team are a lot more junior (what a great 'compliment' if you work there). I asked her why she moved me forward in the first place, she could clearly see my experience on the CV and again during the initial phone screen. This made her bring up more excuses. What a complete waste of time. The people in the team are actually nice and I can't blame my interviewers for not telling me, I think they just wanted to be nice, and play along. They probably asked themselves as well what the heck I was doing there. I got a goodie bag which included a card, an indeed coffee cup, galaxy chocolate bar and a pen. It's like my consolation price now. Shame that a company with a successful product like that employees such incompetent recruiters wasting everyone's time!!
