Started with a recruiter call explaining about the process and requirements. The first round was a an outsourced phone screen. The instructions mentioned for code completeness and no performance optimisation required. I think I did reasonably well for the time frame given and the question. After 4-5 days, the recruiter came back saying they were not going to proceed. No feedback on what went wrong and what could be improved. I am thinking it is just a training exercise for the recruiters or validating the vendor. Please do not waste the candidate's time if you cannot provide feedback
First a quick call with a recruiter and then a karat test. You're allowed to retake the karat coding test within 24hrs of the first test, if you prefer to.

There are questions on database, algorithms etc. during karat interview.
The interview consist of one online coding test + a full day onsite interview. Onsite inverview consists of two whiteboard tests, one system design, one code review and one resume deep dive.
