Meet with HR Rep discussing the overall mechanics of the company. Then had my technical interviewed followed by an interview with the COO. The gentlemen doing the technical interview were quite rude except for one of them. While it's completely expected for professionalism, they could have been a little more courteous. They acted as though I answered each question so horribly and that they are above me. Not pleasant. Meeting with the COO was a better experience, however it was hardly an interview. All his questions surrounded about being a female in a rather male-dominated field. He asked questions like "How is it being a female in software engineering?" "How do you handle working with so many men?" While I am fine briefly touching on this topic, it is not the reason I am here. Unless the primary reason they indeed brought me in is because I'm female. Who knows.
