I applied through LinkedIn and was reached out by the recruiter by email after a few days mentioning that they were impressed by my motivation to work there and was asked to complete and submit an assignment within 7 days. I submitted with 2 days to spare and was ghosted. The assignment was to go through their app and provide improvement strategies about a few key features I had exposure on.

Recommend improvements to {key feature} on the INDMoney app .
They first gave a problem statement around how the app can be improved and was asked to submit it within 4 days. After submission of assignment, they did not bother to revert or give any feedback. After multiple follow-ups, one fine day they sent a mail saying we're not proceeding ahead, without any constructive feedback or reason for this.

After the initial HR round an assignment was shared w/o any deadlines. The HR changed the assignment twice again. In the assignment I was asked to redesign an existing feature on their app however that feature was phased out as per the FAQs on their app. They involved their product team to clear this confusion out. I somehow submitted the assignment as per my understanding of how the feature could have been but the HR sent me a rejection mail in 10 mins or so of me sharing the solution. Overall a very poor experience and a very confused HR.
