I was sent an invite for a phone screening interview. She ghosted me on the day of the interview, and I had to send several emails to her. She later responded with another invite and after about 5 minutes into the interview, she asked if I really wanted the contract position - it was a 13 month contract to replace someone who was going on maternity leave. I told her I was aware before I applied. The interview ended without any real questions and I was pretty much surprised. I sent a follow up mail, and I was informed that they had moved on with other people. In summary, I am sure she ghosted me because they moved on already. It was a waste of my time, and IMAX was very unprofessional. I read about their ghosting attitude prior to my experience and I thought people were exaggerating. Well, it also happened to me. Maybe it's their culture.
