HR was super communicative and helpful throughout the process. Most of the people I met were friendly, nice, and passionate about the work they’re doing.
Unfortunately, they had me do a total of 12 (yes, this is not an exaggeration) different interviews (plus a written assignment) during the span of 3 weeks only for the. to tell me (when it came down to another person and myself) that my experience was not what they were looking for.
Why make me do all of those calls, take time out of my schedule and ask for time off from my current job, to come up with that excuse?
There were a bunch of red flags, and I chose not to see them because this was Lucasfilm.
During my last call with HR, they said that they were going to schedule a call with a manager that was hiring for another position at the company. Do you think that call ever took place?
To top it off, the salary was low on the spectrum for this type of position (~80k). They also expected the person hired for the position to go into the office even though the rest of the team is permanently working from home.
