I recently appeared for a fictional interview at IDFC Bank for a Software Developer role in Mumbai. The process began with an HR screening, followed by a 90-minute online coding round on Hackerrank with problems on string processing and simulating banking transactions. The technical interview focused on OOP design, SQL queries for top customers, and concurrency handling in banking systems. The managerial round tested problem-solving under pressure and secure coding practices. HR discussed salary and joining timelines. The entire process was smooth, and I received an offer within five days, emphasizing my skills in clean design, database handling, and reliability.

1. In coding round they gave us a Leetcode question, gave 20 mins + 5 mins (extra) to solve the question, Any IDE you can use, online or offline, there are some to monitor you, if you want use ai be careful.
- If you complete code successfully, the one of the employee who monitoring you, will come to you and see your code
- you have explan the approach how to solve the problem and explain the code also, if you explanation is good and reasonable and code also working you will selected to next rounf
- clean code, communication, explanation, approach and clear understanding the problem are the key points remember in this round
- around 150 (approx) came to coding round they filtered 30 people for next round

- In this they ask anything, cs fundamentals, technology you like dsa and system design and DBMS
- For me i got selected to technical interview, they askd me to come to cabin
- In the interview, they asked
- write code for given number is fibbonaci number or not
- your favorite academic subjects: cn, os , web dev, data science and OOPs , i selected these
- write the sudo code, to get the data from backend to and show it on the frontend
- whike writing sudo code, they asked,
- what is js
- what is axios
- how do you handle concurrency
- what if server busy
- another sudo code on the conditional rendering, you login then you a get a response from backend, that is a json of it is admin show the admin dashboard or user show the user dashboard

Then they conducted a coding round over there for around 300 people in the office. Out of the 15-20 people went for next rounds
