I applied online. A recruiter contacted me a few days later. I had a few informal phone interviews: two with the recruiter and one with a potential coworker. My resume was forwarded to my potential supervisor. The supervisor decided to rewrite the job description and keep looking for someone with a more particular background. She chose not to interview me. The recruiter and the potential coworker were both very nice. They both gave me tips on how to rearrange my resume before handing it on to the supervisor. The coworker even told me that she would put in a good word for me with the supervisor. When the supervisor decided not to move forward with me, the recruiter said that she would definitely keep my resume on file and see if she could get me anything else with the company. It was a great experience.
