Applied and got an interview set up before the recruiter call. Wasn't able to ahold of the recruiter for more details until AN HOUR before the interview. Said it would be a call about my resume and projects, nothing including about technical questions/concepts or coding challenges. Join the call with the structure of the call including technical questions/concepts and a coding challenge on a Coderpad-style website. Said I wasn't prepped and asked to push this to a different interview. Hiring manager on the call said maybe after they talk to all the candidates they would basically give me that other chance. Never been set up to fail in a interview as bad as this. Transparency on the process needs to be fixed.
