It was an email exchange with a technical recruiter from the company. Technical recruiter (who posted on 5/19/25 with 6 jobs on the post) refused to move me forward because I wouldn't pay for a resume review from a colleague of hers. She stated everything on my resume showed I'm a very qualified candidate, but wouldn't feel comfortable moving me forward unless I paid for her colleague's services. Yes, I verified she was, and still is employed by HubSpot. I refuse to pay for services just to get an interview.
