I try to understand the issues that they are currently experiencing and go through what has not worked for them before. Then I find out what they actually would like and see how we can achieve that for them. Keeping them updated all the time and keeping all communication channels open so they are reassured that we are listening and taking the problems they are having seriously. Therefore building that "trust" relationship and tailoring the solution to their needs.
