      Entrevista

      The process started off strong but ended on a disappointing note. I had an initial meeting with the recruiter, followed by three structured panel interviews—one with management, one with potential teammates focusing on technical skills, and one with company executives. The first two stages were well-organized, thoughtful, and made me feel excited about the opportunity. Unfortunately, my experience took a turn during the executive panel. Despite previously confirmed expectations that the role would be hybrid, the executives suddenly stated it was fully in-office—this last-minute change created confusion and misalignment. To make matters worse, I was accidentally copied on internal feedback from the executives, where I was being compared to someone who was retiring. This felt inappropriate and confirmed the uneasy feeling I had during that portion of the interview. What also stood out was the abrupt drop in communication. After receiving regular weekly updates, I suddenly didn’t hear anything for over a month and never officially heard back about the role. The silence alone said enough. Overall, the earlier stages of the interview were promising, but the shift in tone and professionalism at the end left a bad impression. I hope the company takes steps to ensure candidates are treated with more consistency and respect throughout the entire process.
