I was asked to design an email template for a fake wine brand then I had a one-hour interview with three interviewees the following week. Then they requested a second design exercise (design an IG ad and 3 IG stories for another fake wine brand) in order for them to finalize the decisions. This is the only company that asked me to do more than one design exercise. I feel the company might not need another design exercise to evaluate the final candidate if they have enough design sensibility. Although the design was not for the real wine brand, still, it's the same industry. It would be better to test candidates' craft using brands in other industries.
