During my initial phone screening, the recruiter I was working with said: “If anyone is mean to you during the interview process let me know”. At first I found this weird, it wasn’t until I spoke with the hiring manager that I understood why she said this. He was mean, really aggressive, and unprofessional. The interview questions weren’t hard, the hard part was speaking with someone as rude as he was. After that, I decided to discontinue the interview process. This was the only time I’ve ever done that.

I applied online and heard back within three days. Scheduled a recruiter call. Recruiter seemed harried and did not remember details of our previous email. They should post their salary bands to find if there's alignment before hand. It felt like a waste of time to apply and take the call but realize that the range was so off.
