Applied via LinkedIn/Handshake and received a phone interview a week later. Interviewer went over basic requirements of the job and asked questions pertaining to my skills, personality, and career goals. I was followed up 2 days later via text message asking about my GPA in college. I felt this was a very unprofessional method of reaching out to a potential candidate for more information. Furthermore, I had been out of college and in my industry well over 3 years which overshadows any relevancy that GPA may have on my knowledge and technical skills.
