I was contacted by my recruiter with the job description. I was very interested, so I set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. He was very friendly on the phone, and surprisingly knowledgeable on the subject of front-end development and UX design. We then set up an on-site interview and web development exam. The interview was great, and I realized very early on that we were clearly on the same page in our philosphies and approaches. I felt the written exam was fair - easy for things I knew and challenging for the things I didn't know as well. All in all, the hiring process was smooth and easy.
