I applied with a CV that fits position 100%. Waited two weeks for a 10-min screening with HR (that went flawless) and got a rejections that "they went with another candidate", while the job ad is still open (so a lie) 🤷‍♂️

• 15 minute HR Screening Call (Interviewer was especially kind and personable, they made a great first impression of the company) • 1 hour Engineering Manager Interview (Hiring manager came off as someone with an excellent balance of both EQ and IQ) • Engineering Panel (2 Engineers) • Product and Support Panel (1 Product, 1 Customer Support) • Take-home Project. Use their API to build a small web app. I've done a few variations of take home projects over my career and this was the most reasonable and well defined project scope I've seen. • Project Demo with the Engineering Manager, VP of Engineering and the two Engineers I interviewed with prior. • VP of Engineering Interview (He recently joined the team and has unique and relevant experience in the space. Our conversation was relaxed and enjoyable). Everyone I interacted with at Harvest emanated excellence. The process took six weeks and I could feel that they deeply cared about choosing someone who was the right fit both from a cultural and technical perspective.
