Easy online application with an in-store interview with two managers arranged within a few days. The interview consisted entirely of behavioral interview questions (Tell me about a time you did X) some of which were exactly the same. I always find this form of interview utterly bizarre for this type of position. You're hiring someone to run a cash register, unload trucks, and stock your shelves, you aren't hiring a managerial level position. I'm someone with considerable working experience who was just looking for a decent enough paying part-time job with low responsibility (but still relatively low wages). Why I'm looking for that type of job is no one's business, it's just what works for me right now. If you show me that the company is good to work for, perhaps I'll want to advance at the company. Or maybe not, it shouldn't matter at this entry level position. There was also really weird vibes, with both managers talking about how Harbor Freight is "like a family." I could tell I definitely had way more years in the workforce than these managers, and I can assure you: no company is like a family and any company or managers that claim they are really drinking the Kool Aid or hoping you will be willing to do so the same. If they need to cut the workforce, and your position ends up on the chopping block, you're gone. That's not how family operates. In a family, you might be estranged from some of them, but no one can simply tell you "you are no longer a member of this family. All of you relationships are over as of today."
